Clues From Graphic Tape of Beheading Could Help Identify Killers

May 13, 2004— Crucial clues into the masked men seen in the videotaped beheading of American Nicholas Berg may come from the tape itself, as well as Berg's body, federal investigators involved in the case say.

After analyzing the audio of the tape, the CIA has concluded with "high probability" that the masked speaker, who also carried out the beheading, is Abu Musab al Zarqawi, the top al Qaeda figure in Iraq. Zarqawi is also believed to be behind a wave of suicide bombings in Iraq against American targets.



A close examination of the tape shows none of the five masked men is wearing gloves, so federal officials are trying to determine if there are any tell-tale tattoos on their hands. One of the clues the FBI and CIA is studying is the large gold ring Zarqawi is wearing on his right hand, giving off a glare several times during the six-minute tape.

Other key details found on the tape the FBI and CIA are studying include the height and weight of the five masked men, which can be estimated by calculating the known height and weight of Berg.

They are also studying four of the militants' shoulder-slung weapons, which appear to be AK-47s.

This is quite interesting. Bear in mind, I am a major tinfoil hat type, but for me, that means that I will consider all options. And I preface this by stating that the fall of the Towers LOOKED like a controlled demolition to me, that was my immediate impression as I watched it. And I have difficulty resolving that. I have watched tall building construction from an aerial perch as well as destruction. It's just my opinion, and I am anxious to examine facts in favor of and against that notion.

What is strange is that here is where my interests coincide with a lot of annoying libertarians as well as some otherwise completely batshit Republicans I know. THEY don't accept the present level of information regarding the 9-11 incident either.

I don't think this means I am turning into a winger. I think it means that many aspects of 9-11 confound common sense. For instance, our failure to scramble military jets when it became known that hijackings were occurring. (Remember, course deviations and ALL those damn cell phone calls?) A few gruesomely uninformed people have told me that it just takes too long to deploy jets in that fashion. I don't accept that for one moment, no matter what the excuse. It is not acceptable, albeit somewhat conceivable that the chain of command moved too slowly, but what are we to draw from THAT?

Know how to tell the difference between the truth and lies of 9/11? If they're talking about hijackers having done the dastardly deed, you know they're part of the sinister coverup extravaganza, wittingly or not.

In order for the people of the world to be convinced that Islamic hijackers were responsible for terrible tragedy of 9/11, we need to see some evidence. Not hearsay, innuendo, aspersion or promises of evidence, but real evidence.

Otherwise, the whole subject is rightly regarded as a ruse, a setup to conceal the identities of the real culprits, the ones who sit smugly in front of the TV cameras and plot their cynical war on terror — otherwise known as the war on the peoples of the world.

Why did FBI director Robert Mueller say very publicly to the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco that nothing on paper connected Arab terrorists to 9/11? I mean, two and half years have passed. And the feds produced 19 names within 72 hours of the disaster. Notice a mathematical inconsistency here? All that has happened since is mere vigilante hysteria, hypothetical scenarios trumpeted ad nauseum by America’s notoriously brainwashed Zionist press.

Seven or eight of the names on that original list have been found living comfortably in other countries. Why hasn’t the FBI made any attempt to correct the errors made on that original list? See for yourself.

And why, after much hullabaloo about Colin Powell using phony information in his remarks to the United Nations about the reasons for war, hasn’t the U.S. government produced a single conclusive piece of evidence to back up its claim that 9/11 was the work Osama bin Laden and other Islamic terrorists? Not a single piece!

AKHMAD KADYROV KILLED

MOSCOW: Chechnya’s pro-Kremlin president Akhmad Kadyrov was killed on Sunday along with as many as 31 others in a bomb attack that dealt a grave blow to President Vladimir Putin’s effort to establish control over the republic.

The blast tore through a parade tribune at a packed stadium in the separatist capital as the republic’s top brass and spectators were watching a concert marking Victory Day celebrations commemorating the 1945 victory over Nazi Germany. Casualty figures were unclear late on Sunday, as senior Russian and Chechen officials gave conflicting figures of between six and 40 dead in the attack.

A Chechen interior ministry spokesman told reporters that 32 people had died and 46 others had been injured at the sports stadium. But a senior Russian federal administrator Vladimir Yakovlev, whose district includes Chechnya, said six had died.

Russia’s top general in the region was also reported to have been seriously injured in the blast. Officials said his leg was amputated and he remained in grave condition in a Grozny hospital.

BAGHDAD: The crouching man is naked, his hands tied and his head covered with a hood.

The alabaster sculpture on display at a Baghdad gallery bears a striking resemblance to some of the shocking photographs that emerged last week of Iraqi prisoners abused by their American guards at the Abu Ghraib prison.

But the 15-inch sculpture, with words "We are living American democracy" inscribed on its base, was fashioned two months ago.

"We knew what went on at Abu Ghraib," Abdul-Kareem Khalil, the artist, said on Saturday. "The pictures did not surprise me."

The nature of America's occupation of Iraq, which many Iraqis increasingly perceive as intolerable, is finding its way to the local art scene.
